We Wish You A Merry Christmas!

Once again it's time for Santa, Rudolph, candy canes, gift-getting, great kitchen smells, and renewed family traditions.   But for many of us, remembering the first Christmas is most important.  Traditional or religious, the Christmas Season is here at last - let's be happy for our blessings and very generous to those who have less.

Make sure to visit our Winter Fun page too!

The Polar Express

The children are invited to bring in bathrobes and slippers.  We make a train with our chairs.  Everyone is very quiet and Mrs. M. reads this wonderful book.  We all hear the first Christmas bell.  It's magical!  Of course, there's Snowman Soup to share when we exit the train. Here's a simple response activity:

Snowman Soup

Here's a little gift,
When you need a lift.  It's Snowman Soup!

Hot water you add,
And you'll be glad to have Snowman Soup!

Add the rest and here's the best:
You’re almost done making Snowman Soup!

Use the cane to stir and that is all,
Now have a ball drinking Snowman Soup!

A Great Gift!
