Port Jefferson, NY Is Important: Ms. Riccardi's 1st Grade

Port Jefferson Station is a suburban community located about 60 miles east of New York City. It is on the north shore of Long Island in Suffolk County. There are approximately 7,500 people who live in the 2.6 square miles of our town. Our school is the smallest of 4 elementary schools in the Comsewogue School District. We also have a 1 junior high school and 1 high school. We hope you like our poems.

The important thing about Port Jefferson Station is Norwood Avenue School. It has a train station, Port Jeff Bowl, bagel stores, Comsewogue library, Carnival pizza, karate schools, BJ’s, PJ Cinemas, and Wal-mart. But the important thing about Port Jefferson Station is Norwood Avenue School.
