~ Books About Special Places ~

Project Home Page          Mrs. McGowan's Class

What makes your town special?   Is it the sandy beach, beautiful park, main street, or historic building? Does your town have a museum, theater, boardwalk, mountain, pond, lake, school playground, classroom, ocean, zoo, aquarium?  There are so many special places in a town or community and I only mentioned a few!

Likewise, this list includes just a few books that are associated with someone's important place.  When you submit your class project, please send any book titles that might be used with your selection.

Click on a title to go to get specifics, and read reviews about the book.
