Our town is Greenwich, CT and it is important for many reasons and one of the reasons is the part it played in the history of our nation. Each third Grader chose a site in our town to research and to write about. They took a photo of the site and either emailed the digital picture to school or brought the photo to school and scanned it in the computer lab. The project was researched online, in the library and through interviews. 

Student projects were written and edited in AppleWorks. Because AppleWorks skills were already taught, the project was an independent project in the lab. Each student was given a direction sheet that covered alignment, font choice, and directions for inserting their image.
