Valley Stream is a small suburban community on the south shore
of Long Island. It is the first town in Nassau County bordering
New York City.
There are approximately 36, 300 people who live in the 3.4
square miles of our town.
Our school is the oldest of
three elementary schools in our small district. Click

Our class read The Important Book by Margaret Wise Brown. Here are the reasons we think Our Town Is Important.
|
My Town Is Important
The important thing about Valley Stream is that it is a happy
community.
We call it our home. Our school, Clear Stream Avenue is in our
town. We have lots of stores, fun places like the pool,
park and library in our town. Valley Stream is a small
town near New York City. We care for the people and places
here.
But the important thing about Valley Stream is that it is a
happy community. |
