Sign up at the Library.

Count the money in your mom's or dad's billfold.

Write 5 sentences.  Use a number word in each sentence.

Make something in the kitchen involving the use of measuring cups.

Go outside and write a list of all the yellow things you can find.

Write a story about your pet or a pet you would like to have.

Find an object in your house that begins with each letter of the
alphabet.

Use only the letters in your first name to write as many words as
  you can.

Make words belonging to the ___ig family.  Read them to someone.

Make a scrapbook of animal pictures.

Go outside. Find 4 things: something smooth, something rough, something soft, something hard.

Write the numbers from 101 to 200.

Write the vowels on a sheet of paper.  Think of a word for
each vowel sound.

Correctly spell as many color words as you can.

Make little signs to name things in your room.  Put them up in your room.

Draw a picture of something outside.  Write 2 sentences about it.

Read a story to someone.

Write numbers by 5's to 100.

Write a letter to someone.

 

Write numbers from 1 to 100.

Count out loud from 200 to 300.

Have you gone to the library recently????

Write all the number facts that will add to 6.

Count out loud to 100.

Write 5 sentences.  Use a color word in each sentence.

Write all the number facts that will have 9 for an answer.

Count out loud from 100 to 200.

Write numbers by 2's to 50.
(2, 4, 6, ...)

Cut out words from the newspaper -- one for each letter of the alphabet.

Find pictures of objects that when matched will make a compound word.  Suggestions:  a horse + a shoe= horseshoe,  a tree + a house=
treehouse.

Go outside.  Learn which direction is North, South, East and West.
Walk 10 steps North and then 5 steps West.  Where are you?  (Do not go
into the street!)

Write any ten numbers between 1 to 100.  Cut them out and mix them
up.  Arrange them again from smallest to largest.

Write numbers from 201-300

Write the short vowels on a piece of paper.  Think of a word to write for each vowel sound.

Make words for the ____it family.  Read them to someone. 

Make a list of everything that you can find that is orange.

Cut out words from a magazine.  Make sentences out of them.

Cut out the box from an old cereal box or the picture from an old calendar.  Cut it into puzzle pieces and then put it back together.

Write number from 301-400.

Cut out pictures from a magazine -- one for each letter in your name.

Make a list of as many compound words that you can think of.

Count out loud from 400 to 500.

Write all the number facts that you can think of that will have 13 for an answer.

Write numbers from 801 to 900.

Count out loud from 500 to 600.

Write all the number facts that you can think of that will have 14 for an answer

Count out loud from 900 - 1000.

Make words for the ___ike family.  Read them to someone.

Write all the number facts that you can think of that will have 15 for an answer.

Have someone tell you 3 directions and see if you can do them correctly and in the right order. Example:  Clap your hands 5 times.  Go look out the window. Write your name on a piece of paper.

Cut out food pictures from magazines.  Make 4 category cards: Dairy Products, Meat, Fruit & Vegetable, Bread & Cereal.  Arrange
the pictures under correct category.

Go on a nature walk.  Find 5 -10 objects.  Write describing
sentences.  Have someone read your sentences and then see if they can
pick out what you are describing.

Find objects around you home that begin with CH.  Draw a picture of them or make a list of them and then use each word in a sentence.

Write all the number facts that you can think of that will have 18
for an answer.

Cut out an article from the newspaper.  Circle all the words that name someone or something.

Ask Mom or Dad to give you some change.  See if  you can count it.

Write all the number facts that you can think of that will have 16 for an answer.

What would you do if you lived during the time of dinosaurs/  Write a story about it.

Write all the number facts that you can think of that will have 16 for an answer.

Write numbers from 401-500.

Make words  for the ____in family.  Read them to someone.  See how
many of them you can use in a good sentence.

Find objects around your home that begin with the sound of SH.
Draw a picture of each of them or have someone help you write them down (sheets, shoes, etc.)

Look at a map.  Find Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut,
Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire.

Write all the number facts that you can think of that will have 17
for an answer

Plant something outside or help take care of a garden.

Count out loud from 600 to 700.

Write all the number facts that you can think of that will have 11 for an answer.

Make price tags for several objects in your room.  Make some play money and use it to buy the things in your play store

Make a sandwich. Cut it in half and then in fourths.

Write 3 sentences.  Make them end with 1) !, 2) . and 3) ?
Read them to someone.

Write all the numbers from 901 to 1000.

Count out loud from 700 to 800.

Go on a nature hike.  Collect things and put them in a picture.
Or, make a diorama out of them.

Pretend you are a giant.  Write a short story about it.

Compare your bike with a friend's bike.  How are they alike?  How
are they different?  Try to do a Venn Diagram.  Do you remember how???

Write all the number sentences that you can that will have 8
for an answer.
