CHICAGOLAND FAVORITES

HOME SWEET HOME

We brainstormed about all the cool places that we've been to in the city of Chicago.

We made a list on the board, and then we all wrote our CHICAGO IS MY KIND OF TOWN  poems.  Here are a few of them.

Chicago, Arvin's Kind of Town

City full of animals and people
Hurry and visit the Sears Tower
I know you'd enjoy the zoos
Come visit the hotels
And Navy Pier
Go see the Bears play
Oh, you'll want to the Cubs and Sox too!

Chicago welcomes you!

Chicago, Chase's Kind of Town

City has hotdogs
Hurry and visit all the museums
I know you'd enjoy the movies
Come visit tall buildings
And mimes
Go see the people everywhere
Oh, you'll want to see the animals in the zoos

Chicago welcomes you!

And the Nike Town
Go see the Cubs game
Oh, you'll want to taste the pizza

Chicago welcomes you!

Chicago, Cecilia's Kind of Town

City for American Girl Place
Hurry and visit the place where Dolphins play the Bears
I know you'd enjoy the dinosaurs at the museum
Come visit Lake Michigan
And I hope you like the zoo
Go see my new town
Oh, you'll want to go to the Sears Tower

Chicago welcomes you!

If I'm sad, I like to go to my room and close the door.
A good spot for reading is on the floor under the dining room table.
Outside you can climb your favorite tree.
