Our
Christmas Traditions Mrs. McGowan's 2nd Grade H. W. Mountz School Spring Lake, NJ |
On Christmas Eve my Mom, sister, and I put cookies and a carrot on the table. We listen to music and put a train track under the tree. We always put an angel on our tree and a star on our roof.

My brother Ben wakes up and goes downstairs to see if the presents are there. He goes upstairs and gets Don and they go downstairs. Then he goes upstairs and gets Brett and they go downstairs. He gets me and we go downstairs. Then we all get my Mom and dad and we open our presents!
My Christmas tradition is to eat a fish dinner. I decorate our tree with my sister and brother. I wake my brother up and he wakes up my Mom and Dad. My sister gets up at 7:00. Then we open our presents, first my brother, then me, then my sister, then her husband, then my mom and dad. It's a great day!

Every Christmas I go to my Grammy's house to open presents. Then I go to my Nana's house and open more presents. My cousins and I sing. Christmas is my favorite holiday because we get together!
Every Christmas Eve we go to my cousins. My aunt gives me pajamas and we eat a turkey dinner. Every Christmas Day we have a party at my house.

On Christmas Eve we go to my grandma's and grandpa's house
to open presents. Then my Nana comes to my house. When we wake up, we stay at
the top of the stairs. My Dad always says, "There's no presents!" On
Christmas night we go to my Nana's house.
When I wake up on Christmas Day I have to wait for my whole family to open the presents. We play with our toys. We have a party at my house.
On Christmas Eve we all go to see the tree in town. Then we go back to our house. We decorate the tree and put out reindeer food and water. Then we go to bed. When it's Christmas, I'm always the first one up. Then we open up the presents. It's the best day of the year!

I open a lot of presents on Christmas. Then my cousins
come to my grandmother's house. We play a lot and decorate the Christmas tree.

Every year we always get a real tree. We always decorate the tree too, the minute we get home. It is a family tradition. We also put cookies out for Santa. ![]() |

When I wake up I have to wait until my Mom and Dad and sister wake up. Then we take some pictures. We take videos too.
We always wait for my mom and Dad to wake up on Christmas Day. Grandma sleeps over and watches us open the presents. |

We always go to pick out our tree together. My brother and I run around the trees. We play hide-and-seek and we really have fun.
On Dec. 23 Chris and I go to our grandmother's house so we can sleep over. On Dec. 24 we leave and go to our own house. On Dec. 25 I can't wait until I open all my presents. I like all the presents that I get!
