Spring
Writing 2003
It's great to be reading books about
spring and warm weather fun. After making a class list about signs of spring, we
wrote 4 - line poems about the new season. The Seven Sillies story in our McGraw
Hill reading book got us interested in reading more stories with interesting words.
Pamela Duncan's, Some Smug Slug, was just what we needed to hear to be able to
write our own silly story lines using alliteration. You can view both of these
writing activities. Enjoy!
