Dear Mrs.
McGowan,
In this time of being thankful, we want to thank you
from the bottom of our hearts for your wonderful project.
If we hadn't been involved with it, we may never have
pursued our work with the Monarch Migration. Although it took us in a
totally different direction than we had planned, we learned so much and had
so much fun!
We also have greatly enjoyed the wonderful work of the
other participants, and learning about Autumn across our great America.
Ms. Jacoby says you come up with simply terrific
projects, and we agree!!
Thank you so much, again, and Happy Thanksgiving!

The Autumn Across America telecollaborative project provides a wonderful
way for me to combine reading, writing, and technology activities for my
students. The ability to choose lessons that match our curriculum - yet fit
into the objectives of the project - allows me to meet curriculum standards
in a creative manner. A great big
hurray goes to Mrs. McGowan for all the time, effort, and creativity she
puts into all of her online projects!

As always your project was open ended and allowed for great freedom in
how a teacher presented it to the students. Having a focus and reason to
write, then seeing their work on the net gives meaning to their work.
Thank you Marci for creating such interesting projects.

Good morning, Marci...
My students and I love your projects. We learn about other third graders and
their classrooms and towns. Since we've been off-track since October 26th,
we haven't been able to view many of the projects, but we will be learning
about the other towns when we return.
I appreciate all the work you go to for other kids.
These projects always impress my parents and they always say how much I do
with technology. Which cracks me up because I have to do very little to
look impressive. I am very thankful for you and the time you commit to
these great projects. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Hi Marci - as busy as the school year is right now, we really enjoyed this
project. It is great to utilize our curriculum to integrate a project.
