        Nate

My Orca Ride
by Nathanael

nate.jpg (21754 bytes)One night, about two weeks ago, I had a dream. I was going to Hawaii. I got a ride from an orca or killer whale. I was going on a journey. I was in the ocean. There was a big sunken ship. In the ship there was a treasure chest with diamonds in it. Then we saw a dolphin jumping. We were swimming fast. We saw a boat and a man scuba diving. I said, "Hi."

We finally got to Hawaii. I went surfing and water skiing with Nate, the orca. The waves were really huge. We were there for two weeks. When it was time to go, I jumped on the orca's dorsal fin and he brought me back to New Jersey.

Killer Whales - Orca

Patrick

My Adventure W A Blue Whale
by Patrick

patrick.jpg (16113 bytes)One day I was underwater near Hawaii. I saw a cave. I went in it and heard the sound of air. I saw a blue whale with ten piranhas guarding him. I thought the piranhas would eat me. I went back to land on my jetpack surfboard. Later I saw the piranhas about to eat the whale. The whale jumped so high almost to the moon. I rode on his back. We saw all of the solar system that day. Then we went shooting down to Earth. The piranhas were gone. I took the whale home to keep for a pet.

Riding With A Narwhal
by Kristen

kristen.jpg (17975 bytes)One sunny summer day, while I was at the beach with my mom, dad, and brother, I saw something moving in the water. I told my brother to get out because I didn't know what it was. We went home and called the rest of the family.

When everyone got to the beach, we found that it was a narwhal! We all went for a ride on the whale. We went to a ship, but it was not just any old ship. It was a sunken ship with air and the whale could breathe there too! I finally got a name for the whale, "Whalie"! I knew this time would never end because I was having such a good time! I noticed that some of my classmates were there too. I was so surprised! Everyone was riding on whales and dolphins. After a long day of fun with my family and friends, I was ready to go.

We started to go home. It was taking a while to get there. I looked around and wondered where we were. I was hoping Whalie knew. I saw a lot of my friends on the way back. I couldn't believe my eyes. I saw Chelsea, Lia, Lauren, Tiffany, Grace and Mary Beth. I was having such a good time but I didn't know if it was a dream or not. We finally got home and went to bed. It was a sleepover.

In the morning, I saw my whale again. I finally knew that it wasn't a dream. It was real. Then I told my family. Some believed me and some didn't, but I believe it really happened.

Mary Beth

An Amazing Adventure
by Mary Beth

marybeth.jpg (11829 bytes) Last night I had the strangest dream. I dreamed of a dolphin knocking on my door. Mom and dad didn't hear it, but I did. It was my dolphin, Splash.

I hopped on her back and she swam off to an island called Ireland. It just so happened I was wearing green pajamas and it's my favorite color.

Under the island there was an underground city with a sunken ship next to it. I was surprised that I could breathe under water. Splash knew this place because her friend pearl lives there. We went up to Ireland and I caught a leprechaun.

I said, "Grant my wishes and I will let you go if I can."

My first wish was for his pot of gold. My second wish was for two million more wishes. My third wish was for him to be my pet. If he didn't behave himself, I'd give him spinach and he hates that. My fourth wish was to give me the treasure and diamonds in the sunken ship, and I got them too.

After all that I got to meet Pearl, Splash's friend. She was really nice. She let us do anything we wanted to do. Before you knew it, it was time to go back home. When we were swimming home together, we got separated. I had to go the rest of the way by myself. Halfway home we found each other and traveled together the rest of the way. When we got home I was so sad. I knew we would have another adventure tomorrow night. When I woke up it was only a dream. Just then I heard a dolphin sound! Oh no!

Sean

My Whale Tale
by Sean

sean.jpg (22518 bytes)      One day. I was taking a shower when I looked out the window and saw that I was on an island!  I jumped out of the show and got dried and dressed.   When I got outside, I heard an orca calling my name.  I went to see the orca and he came up to me.  He wanted me to hop on his back.
He said his name was "Killer."  He had magic and gave some to me.  I held on tightly as we dove into the ocean.  We swam so fast!   We were faster than all the other whales.  I couldn't believe I could breathe under water.  He told me he was taking me to Florida.  One hour later, we saw a blue whale.  I got on his stomach.  It was a little lumpy.  I felt Killer's stomach too.  It was a lot smoother.  I felt tired and wanted to go home so Killer took me back.  It was fun!

Charlie

The Orca Cruise
by Charlie

charlie.jpg (23628 bytes)One day long, long ago an orca knocked on my house door. He told me he wanted to go on a special cruise to the Caribbean and to five different islands. He said he would take me if I wanted to go.

On one of the different islands, I got back on the cruise ship. But where was my whale? He was still on the island. It was a good thing he could swim. He swam to the next island. I did not see him there at first. I found him laying on the beach on the other side of the island. We played in the water. I had a good time and I told him I would see him next year.
