We pretended to write a letter to the editor of a newspaper running a contest for the "Mom of the Year".  Well, all our moms should win because they are the best!

     My mom is Mom of the Year.  My mom is the best mom.  She helps me with my homework.  My mom makes me lunch and supper.

     My mom is the Mom of the Year.  My mom makes me a hotdog in a bun.  She gives me a bandaid.   She gives me candy sometimes.

     My mom is the Mom of the Year.  My mom helps me with my homework.  She picks me up from school.  She takes me shopping.

     My mommy tucks me into bed.  She scratches my back for me to fall asleep.  She pushes me on the swing.  She helps me do homework.  She lets me help clean Shane's diaper.   But most of all, she loves me and I love her.
