Mountz School Spring Lake, NJ We participated in Debbie Thompson's Jelly Beans 2002 Internet Project with over 100 other classes. Our task was to find out which color is found the most in a bag of jelly beans. Our class used 3 bags of Jolly Rancher candies, with 4 students sharing one bag. the bag), 6 empty containers for sorting colors, and a recording page. Four students came to me at a time and dictated their amounts which were written on the chalkboard. Together we added up the amounts for each color. Then they used this "bag" information to make their final graph - a vertical bar graph this time.
