Junie B. Jones Favorites
#25 Junie B. First Grader: |
Ms. Noell's 1st Grade |
|
During this unit, each of us read a different Junie B. book, and then we created a report cube. We each took one side of the cube to write about our book. We also completed a graphic organizer, comparing and contrasting characteristics of Junie B. with those of ourselves. We wrote letters to Junie B., with suggestions of how to act more appropriately. Then, we wrote a group story about Junie B. ourselves, complete with illustrations! We found the activities on the official Junie B. website fun, as well. Junie B. Jones 1st Grader Jingle Bells Batman Smells (P.S. So Does May) is our favorite Junie B. book. Junie B. likes to change the words of "Jingle Bells" and so do we. While Ms. Robyn read to our class, we all joined in! In this book, Junie B. wants the Squeeze-a-Burp and crayons from the Holiday Gift Shop. She has to not fight with May or they'll be parking themselves in Principal's office. In this book, there were things like arguing and teasing and giving coal. This is what we liked best about the book:
