We read several fall books, and it was really hard
to choose just one. The students truly enjoyed Too
Many Pumpkins by Linda White. Since part of our
project was to visit a nearby pumpkin patch, it was
fun to see so many pumpkins just like Rebecca Estelle!
Our Class Poem

Pumpkins
Plump and round had orange skin
Loves the dark and Halloween
Who feels fantastic about fall
Who needs to be carved by me
Who shares his icky stuff for pumpkin pie
Who fears bats, witches and being broken
Who'd like to see trick-or-treaters
Who dreams of being a jack-o-lantern
Who ends up making kids laugh and Halloween fun!
Fall is Here! We love it!

The students wrote their own poems, created
scarecrows, made a scarecrow collage and took a
Pumpkin Patch field trip.

Danielle's poem and poster are a great example of the
great work my students produced.
