We
began our discovery of autumn with a leaf walk and read the story
Leaf Man by Lois Elhert. We also read the story Fall is
Here!: I Love It!by Elaine W. Good with Mrs. Neddo in Library.
We gathered leaves to make our own leaf collages just like Mrs.
Elhert does in her book. Afterwards we wrote a poem to
describe our feelings about fall. Mrs. Hyland and Mrs. Civiok made
special paper for us with the scanner.

Photos of our leaf walk, leaf collages, and poetry can be found at
our class website in a
PhotoShow.
