We read many fall books and our two favorites were:  Autumn Leaves by Ken Robbins and Fall- A Tale of What's To Come by Janet McDonald. 

We did many fall activities such as collecting leaves and labeling them, a web diagram of fall activities, and making a class book of leaf rubbings. Here is our class poem:             

Fall Leaves

Fall leaves fall every year

You can collect leaves
You could make projects with the leaves
You could sort the leaves
You could jump in the leaves
Fall is here! We love it!

These activities covered ELA Standard 1-children read, write, listen and speak for information and understanding, Standard 2-children read, write, listen, and speak for literary response and expression and Standard 4- children read, write, listen, and speak for social interaction.
