Favorite Books:  That's What Happens When It's Spring!  by Elaine W. Good and The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle

For our project we read several spring books. Earlier in the year we had planted daffodil bulbs and they bloomed just in time for this project. The picture is our class standing behind the beautiful flowers.

We also learned about the parts of a seed and how it becomes a plant. We used magnifying glasses to observe the parts of a flower.

We also wrote a 4-line class poem describing spring, then the students wrote individual poems.
