We read The Enormous Carrot and The
Enormous Potato and made Venn diagrams to compare the two stories.
Then we read The Little Duck and Hamilton Duck’s Springtime
Story. We went outside to look for signs of spring and noticed trees
blooming, birds singing, nests and bugs.
*We wrote individual 4 line poems following the pattern “spring is…”.
Then we wrote acrostic poems about spring in Show Low. This is Nysa’s
poem.
