The Colors of Spring

Blue is for spring ponds
Shining blue sky way up high
Bluebirds chirp at dawn.

Red is like a rose
Sweet smell of springtime perfume
Sniffing spring gardens.

Green grass tickles feet
Tall weeds dancing in the wind
Itchy blades around.

The sun sparkles high
Fluffy yellow chicks wander
A dandelion.

Pink butterflies glide
Rain leaves colorful rainbows
Purple crocuses.
